In order to keep Barcamp a free, open event, organizers rely heavily on sponsorship to make the magic happen. Thank you so much to our generous 2009 sponsors for helping us bring Barcamp to Mobile for the first, but certainly not last time!

Very special thanks to our top-tier sponsor Automattic, the creators of the ever-amazing WordPress platform. Their generous donation allowed us to provide dinner for everyone at Baumhower’s Wings for our Barcamp pre-party.

Also special thanks to Dreamhost for a generous donation, as well as providing a free year of hosting for each of our attendees! Their generosity meant pizza, snacks and drinks for everyone the entire day, as well as all the paper products and other necessities.

Large companies are great, but we have to extend a special thank you to local favorite Satori Coffee House for providing us with breakfast and coffee for everyone who attended. The scones were so amazing, there literally was not a single one left! I hear the blueberry ones were great, but it seems they were so good people were going back for seconds..and thirds..Needless to say your hard work was incredibly appreciated!
